Master Bedroom Tour – Part 2

Hide TV Box Wood Sliding Door

A couple years ago (I know…years?!  Where does the time go?!) I shared my Navy Grey and White Master Bedroom with you….but I never really felt the dresser wall was finished.

I only gave you a little peek of this wall the first time around.

Black and Blue Master Bedroom

I didn’t show the dresser wall much, because well, it was sooo boring!  We’ve been saving for a larger TV and had plans to get the sucker up on the wall!  We wanted something a little fancy to conceal the TV when it wasn’t in use.  There are all kinds of products on the market that can do this, but they are super expensive, and not quite what we were looking for…

See how boring?!

Dresser Wall Before

Just awful!  I knew the room just wouldn’t be finished until we addressed this wall!  The most important project on this wall was the Sliding Door TV Box (sliding door tv box tutorial here) that Mr. Salvage spent hours and hours building for the room.  This definitely was not a beginner project, but it was soo worth it in the end.

After the TV went up, I went to Hobby Lobby where I found the burlap and mercury glass lamps.

Collected some Michael’s frames to show off our Mexico Wedding photos.

And finally we have something worth looking at when we wake up in the am.

What do you think of the change?  I just love the clean look of a wall mounted TV, no cords a danglin’, doors that double as artwork keeping everything looking tidy until its time to settle down and watch a show at the end of the evening. :)

I love the color combo in the room. I always love adding some blue to a space. Also the Tv being covered up is awesome. I love this idea and will probably be trying to find a way to do it in my room too. Those pesky TV’s are so enjoyable but not very pretty. Hide them away!

Thanks for the comment Emily! Glad you stopped by. We’re a blue family for sure, it appears in pretty much every room (except my yellow/grey master bath) :)

I love it! Hiding TV panels can be a challenge. It always pays to wait for the right inspiration, doesn’t it? I love your end result – the print, too. Have a great weekend!
